“ For gamers, board game aficionados, and casual guests alike, Guildhall is as much of a great gastropub as it is a very welcoming space for those who like a bit of geekiness with their nights out. As someone who loves video games, it was awesome to see streamers being broadcast on the gastropub's televisions and images of Smash Bros. characters adorn the outside patio area. As a "Legend of Zelda" fan, I geeked out at a replica Master Sword being hung by one of the larger TVs and I definitely treated myself to a "Heart Container" mocktail which was a pleasant, sweet blend of coconut cream, lemon, and pineapple juice. Other than having a great selection of board games, Guildhall provides enough table space to play those games as well as other forms of games. I love how inviting Guildhall was in the sense that it's built to encourage people to sit down, stay, and have some fun with friends. It also helps the food here is pretty good as well as I thought the sweet potato tater tots were some of the best I've ever had...and the garlic fries were pretty darn good as well! Overall, it's really nice to be at a place where a big, diverse crowd of people are coming to have wholesome fun with their friends. Seldom have I gone to any drinking or eating establishment and felt so many positive vibes. Consider me a customer for life! ”
“ Pretty cool premise having a full bar/ food menu while having a space to play a variety of different board games that aren't just monopoly. I got the Chareau-Dinger's Cat cocktail which was very fresh and delicious as well as a side of fries and their brussel sprouts. Everything tastes great especially the sprouts. The inside is on the smaller side so if it's winter being outside can get a little chilly if you don't get next to a space heater. Only thing keeping this from a full 5 stars would be how small the cocktails are for the price point, not really a fan of that. (note: the picture I posted is not the full drink as I'd already had a couple sips before taking it) ”
“ This place can fill up even on a Monday. While maybe you don't need to go early on a Monday, I'd definitely go early if it's on the weekend and you want a table inside. They have only one working heater outside and it doesn't heat up the entire back patio. Probably the only bar around around that offers board games, I hope it definitely stays around! They don't care how long you stay from what I've noticed. They have a decent selection of beers, cocktails, and food. Definitely a chill vibe over there. ”
“ If your love boards games and needing out then this is your place. This spot has many board games to choose from or you can bring your own. FYI if you are wanting to play a game that requires a big table I would suggest coming before sundown as I saw it was pretty busy during dark. They have a full bar with multiple beers to choose from and they offer food. I didn't come here to eat just to play so I just enjoyed the beer they had to offer. They have outdoor seating with good size table to play as well. Only small complaint is that they have one register which can cause a big line at times. Would definitely come back again. ”
“ From the moment I entered Guild Hall, I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff and vibrant atmosphere. I was impressed by the full bar and themed monthly specials. As for the food, the smash burger was a win paired with their mixed green side salad with citronette. Tater tots and garlic fries were good sizes to share with the table. The menu is inclusive of vegetarian and vegan options. I had a great time playing Labyrinth with my friends and I can see many more fun game nights at Guild Hall. For parking, we found residential street parking without any trouble which is always a plus. ”
“ Definitely liked the vibe here. It's more like a place where they have board games (all kinds), people come to play Yu-Gi-Oh and other card games as well. It does get busy and you might have to do a little bit of waiting but the food was good. The burger and chicken tenders were delicious. I would come again ”
“ What a cool vibe! We enjoyed the walls of games and big space. People everywhere were playing lots of different games and enjoying food and drinks. It's a counter order and deliver to the table situation, so little interaction with the staff, but everyone was friendly. I liked the food, smash burger and veggie platter. ”
“ Cool spot and definitely a great place for groups! There are dozens of board and card games here, and with the drinks named after anime, cartoon or movie characters, this place truly is a comfortable abode for all kinds of nerds. The drinks here are tasty -- I ordered a Dragon Ball-themed beverage that came with rum, passion fruit and other ingredients I can't remember lol. I didn't taste the alcohol in my beverage; it just tasted like a refreshing juice. But oh boy, toward the end of my beverage, I could feel a slight buzz from it. Since I went late at night, I noticed some people parked in the KFC parking lot next door. I didn't want to risk and ticket or anything if the sort, so I parked on the street next to the KFC. I had no issue finding parking there ”
“ Guildhall is a fun little, nerd-friendly gastropub in Burbank. It has a wall of board games and table top games you can play as well as E-sports and stuff like that playing on the TVs. It almost fills the hole left by the closing of Game Haus during the pandemic (god, I miss that place). Although, slightly different vibes for sure. Their drink menu is pretty extensive but I just ordered a high noon this time. Also got the Impossible Burger. It was pretty good, but not great. Their menu is very small, so it would be nice to see a few more entrees, especially veggie-friendly ones. The garlic fries were good though. Stayed for around 2 hours and played games. It can be kind of difficult to get a table here, unless you don't mind sitting outside on the back patio. That's where most of the seating is, but not ideal during cold or rainy days, although it is covered. The bartenders are super friendly here. And there are a lot of regulars. Great for small groups or even date night if you like games. Parking is limited; mostly street parking. ”
“ Spent a few hours here with friends eating, drinking & playing board games - the perfect Saturday outing! The old fashioned was delicious & there was a good beer list so everyone found something to their liking. Smash burger was solid - big enough to share. We also tried the garlic fries (not pictured) and they were great. My favorite item was the brisket Mac & Cheese! We added the onions but tbh I think I would have preferred it without. Now on to the games! They have a whole wall of options so we played a few old reliables (Rummikub, Scattergories + Sushi Go) and tried a new-to-us ones like Made Up Movies. Fun times. We got there at like 4:30 and had our pick of tables. By the time we left at like 8 it was packed! Definitely get there early to secure a table. ”
